Oklahomans for Equality(OkEq)

seeks equal rights for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) individuals and families  through advocacy, education, programs, alliances, and the operation of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center.

Serving LGBT Oklahomans and their allies since 1980, Oklahomans for Equality is home to a diverse, vibrant, and engaged community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons, knowledgeable staff, and dedicated volunteers.

The Equality Center offers a variety of programs including:

  • Equality Gala – the event of the year
  • Free, anonymous 15-minute HIV testing through H.O.P.E.

  • Grieving Well
  • Cultural programs such as First Thursdays art gallery openings and Equality Concerts

    • The Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, our 18,000 square foot home located at the corner of 4th and Kenosha in downtown Tulsa, is operated by Oklahomans for Equality. The Equality Center exists to connect and empower the LGBT and allied community and proudly serves as the second largest LGBT community center in the region.
