The Tulsa PRIDE 2008 Equality Festival will be held on Saturday June 14th at Centennial Park, which is located at 1028 E. 6th Street.
The theme for Tulsa PRIDE 2008 is “Equality, Love, Tulsa” and at the Equality Festival, we will be making that theme a reality. This year, we will be highlighting and celebrating Tulsa’s multi-cultural and multi-ethnic diversity.
support local businesses
At the Equality Festival, you will have a chance to meet local business people who support our community. Come prepared to “Shop Till You Drop!” If you’re looking for a realtor, a pet groomer, or home-made candles... or anything you can imagine... come on down!
get active
Don’t worry, we’re not going to make you run laps or anything. However, we DO want to help you find a place to get involved in helping make our community a safer, healthier, more rewarding place to live. At the Equality Festival, there will be many organizations for you to learn about. We’ll have charities, churches, parenting organizations, HIV/AIDS prevention organizations, activist & political groups, social organizations, mutli-faith/race/cultural organizations, etc. We are very privileged to have an incredibly supportive and active community. We believe that all of our lives will be improved by helping people connect with an activity or organization they are passionate about.
